Contracts Manager / Senior Contracts Engineer

For our client we are currently in need of an experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Engineer who is required for a large-scale industrial construction project, focused on renewable fuels. The role involves managing the commercial and contractual aspects of a mechanical/piping work package within a complex engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) environment. The position is site-based and demands strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage contracts related to mechanical and piping scopes. Conduct quantity surveying activities including cost estimation, valuations, and forecasting. Lead negotiations and manage claims, variations, and change orders. Ensure compliance with contract terms and support dispute resolution processes. Collaborate with project controls, procurement, and construction teams to align commercial strategies. Provide regular reporting on contract performance, risks, and opportunities. Required Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry. Proven ability to manage mechanical/piping work packages on large industrial projects. Strong commercial understanding of EPC contract frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
