Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Coordinator to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing medical billing, claims, and collections processes for healthcare services. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the healthcare industry. Responsibilities: • Handle medical billing tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims. • Manage collections processes, including following up on overdue accounts and resolving payment discrepancies. • Review and address medical denials, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. • Prepare and submit medical appeals to ensure proper reimbursement. • Collaborate with hospital billing teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and policies related to billing and collections. • Analyze billing data to identify trends and recommend improvements. • Communicate effectively with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve billing issues. • Assist with audits and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of records. Requirements • Proven experience in medical billing, including familiarity with healthcare claims processes. • Strong background in medical collections, with the ability to negotiate and resolve payment issues. • Knowledge of medical denials and appeals processes. • Expertise in hospital billing systems and procedures. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Proficiency in healthcare billing software and tools. • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and colleagues.
