Job Description Contract Type: Initial 6+ month contract with potential for permanent hire

Our client is seeking a Contracts and Sourcing Specialist to play a vital role in shaping, managing, and optimizing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts and procurement processes. This is a multifaceted role that blends legal and commercial understanding with strategic sourcing, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with legal, procurement, and operational teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that contracts and sourcing practices not only meet compliance and risk standards—but also support the company’s broader goals for efficiency, quality, and commercial advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Contracts Drafting & Reviewing: Prepare new contracts, review existing ones, and ensure alignment with legal standards and company objectives Negotiation: Support and participate in negotiations with internal stakeholders and external vendors Lifecycle Management: Oversee contracts from initiation through closeout, including renewals and amendments Compliance & Risk: Ensure contracts meet legal and policy requirements, and help mitigate risk exposure Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with legal, sales, procurement, and operations teams to align on contract terms Performance Tracking: Monitor key contract milestones, deadlines, and obligations Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide updates to leadership on contract status and performance Sourcing & Procurement Supplier Research & Categorization: Identify and classify suppliers based on business needs and technical scope Evaluation & Vetting: Conduct due diligence on supplier qualifications, regulatory compliance, and capabilities RFP/RFQ Management: Support bidding, tendering, and selection processes in alignment with project and operational timelines Supplier Relationship Management: Build long-term supplier relationships to ensure delivery quality, cost-effectiveness, and service continuity What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in contract administration, legal or commercial operations, or procurement Strong understanding of contract structures, sourcing processes, and vendor management Comfortable negotiating terms and engaging with legal and commercial teams Detail-oriented, organized, and confident in handling deadlines and reporting requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and solutions-driven approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization making tangible strides in energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
