Contracts and Risk Manager

Regardless of your project or service requirements, Dynalectric DC gives you a complete end-to-end specialty contracting solution that results in the responsive professional service and long-lasting systems you need for reliable facility operation and consistent business success. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Review and evaluate customers contracts, non-disclosure Agreements to ensure compliance with company standards and policies. 2. Review and evaluate requested modifications to our subcontracts to ensure compliance with company standards and policies. 3. Identify and assess potential risks in contractual terms and business operations 4. Manage and facilitate the prequalification process for customers contract review process 5. Support operations in contract language disputes and support resolving issues. 6. Develop and implement enhancements to contract administration processes and policies. 7. Provide training and guidance to operational team members on contract and risk management best practices. 8. Develop and manage injury and incident reports, including creation of forms, initial reports, cause mapping, and supplemental documentation. 9. Maintain accurate logs and records of injuries requiring medical treatment, ensuring timely reporting and compliance. 10. Track and manage workers’ compensation cases, including reporting, documentation, and coordination with corporate claims management, insurance adjusters, and DC/MD/VA Worker’s Compensation Commissions. 11. Submit and monitor incidents in the EMCOR KPA system, covering injuries, near misses, environmental releases, property damage, vehicle incidents, and regulatory visits. 12. Coordinate and manage annual insurance program renewal and work as liaison with EMCOR risk management team 13. Other job duties as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS:** · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). · 4–8 years of experience in contract administration, risk management, or construction project support. · Strong knowledge of contract law, construction industry standards, and public/private bidding processes; paralegal experience is a plus. · Experience with electronic contract review systems and contract management software such as Document Crunch is a plus. · Familiarity with workers’ compensation reporting and claim management procedures. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems. · Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. · Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with contractors, agencies, and internal teams. · Ability to analyze and improve administrative processes and policy documentation. · Knowledge of safety reporting systems (e.g., KPA) is a plus. · Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. **Notice to prospective employees:** There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
