Contractor Support Specialist - Plant Barry
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Southern Company Contracts Manual at Plant Barry Cluster. This position will work with Plant Barry, Theodore Cogen and Washington County Cogen personnel to maintain and update processes and procedures in reference to contract compliance; monitor and report on contractor man hours; maintain documentation on required Key Performance indicators; and manage the Maximo Labor Rate Contract process.

Bachelor’s degree preferred Knowledge of service contracts and contracts with union workforce Demonstrated organizational skills and compliance related program oversight Knowledge of budgeting and accounting procedures Experience in invoice reconciliation/accounts payable Familiar with auditable processes and procedures to ensure compliant operations Demonstrated initiative and self-motivationJob Responsibilities:
Knowledge of contract administration and Southern Company's policies regarding Chapter XII: Contract Guidance Manual of the SCG Playbook Knowledge of Maximo and Enterprise Solutions Support tools Knowledge of the Southern Company Maintenance & Modification Agreement and IBEW Contract This position is responsible for understanding, owning, and assuring compliance with regulations and corporate policy in the area of contract services in compliance with the Southern Company Contracts Manual. This position will also maintain appropriate centralized plant files for each facility (Plant Barry, Theodore Cogen and Washington County Cogen) that includes documents pertaining to the bid process and contracts on all contractors in accordance with records retention guidelines. Manage Maximo Labor Rate Contract Process (timesheet, reporting, etc.). Assist with invoice reconciliations. Manage overall contractor on-boarding process and ongoing contractor evaluations. Support plant self-assessment program to ensure the Plant Barry Cluster is compliant with established key internal controls; ability to identify gaps; develop corrective action plans; and set deadlines for completion. Develop and maintain plant specific contracting procedures. Support and help achieve corporate goals for supplier diversity. Maintain inventory of all audit action Items, including checks for evidence of complianceBehavioral Attributes:
