What You’ll Do
As a Contract Technology Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for technical roles across Sports Next and other affiliated brands. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, HRBPs, and stakeholders to shape talent strategies that align with business goals and foster a diverse, innovative, and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment Ownership - Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for technology roles - from intake through offer - across engineering, product, data, and related technical domains.Strategic Talent Consulting - Partner with business leaders and HR to understand team objectives and build tailored, data-driven recruitment strategies.Candidate Sourcing & Engagement - Develop and execute sourcing plans using a variety of channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, events, local colleges/universities, etc.) to attract top candidates. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines.Stakeholder Partnership - Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, calibration, interview coaching, and support throughout the hiring process.TA Innovation & Projects - Contribute to broader TA projects such as improving candidate experience, enhancing recruitment tech, and refining inclusive hiring practices.Market Intelligence & Reporting - Leverage talent analytics and industry trends to guide recruiting decisions and influence hiring strategies.Brand & Culture Ambassadorship - Represent VERSANT at recruiting and industry events, conferences, and networking meetups to promote our employer brand and culture.QualificationsBasic Qualifications
Required:
7+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record in full-cycle technology recruitmentProven experience hiring in dynamic, high-growth environments, particularly across engineering, data, and product rolesExperience influencing and partnering with senior business leaders and HRBPsExcellent sourcing skills using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and social recruiting platformsProficiency in ATS systems and recruiting analytics/reportingStrong communication, consulting, and organizational skillsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceDesired Characteristics/Experience:
Experience working in or recruiting for media, sports tech, or entertainment technology companiesPassion for sports and the future of tech-driven fan experiencesExperience contributing to TA branding, candidate experience, or recruitment process improvementsAgile, entrepreneurial mindset - thrives in ambiguity and “build” environmentsAdditional Requirements
