Job Description

(This is a 12-month contract position.)

Contract, Supply Chain Specialist would be responsible for E2E Supply Chain and inventory management activities (ROP and Min/Max analysis, Purchasing and replenishment processes, Backorder analysis, returns to vendors, etc…) for their portfolio.

Job Duties Establish and maintain partnership with all OCI teams to support business requirements and drive customer satisfaction. Act as liaison between Marketing, customer service, vendors and logistics team. Execute all Regulatory requirements as requested in a timely manner. Provide weekly/monthly and quarterly inventory reports as needed. Ensure all products have appropriate stock classification and ROP/min, max level to meet service level requirements. Conduct regular proactive analysis on inventory accuracy, slow moving, excess, and obsolete inventory, and propose proper actions to stakeholders and execute accordingly. Review and analyze back orders on regular basis, identify root causes and propose and execute proper remediation actions. Develop and maintain regular cycle count procedure (initiate cycle counts, prepare variance reports, and manage adjustments and provide monthly reports to management). Process inventory adjustments and inventory reclassifications in SAP. Review and report on inventory cost discrepancies and lot/serial number discrepancies and recommend and execute corrective actions as required. Manage E2E return to vendor process. Lead special projects as assigned. Develop proper process documentation as required. Place Purchase orders. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business ,Supply Chain Management or industrial engineering.

Minimum 2+ years’ of experience in a Supply Chain, Purchasing, Replenishment and Inventory Management role (preferably in the medical device or related industry).

 

Preferred:

Effective problem solving and analytical skill. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Competencies. Strong organizational skills and high level of accuracy. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to approach problems logically and methodically. Ability to work with and influence others in a fast paced environment.

**Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for employees who are at risk for exposure to blood or other bodily fluids on the job.
