Contract Specialist
Boart Longyear is seeking a contract specialist to support our Drilling Services Canada operations teams. This is a full-time role out of the Haileybury, ON or North Bay, Ontario office. 

The primary responsibility of this role will be preparation and participation in tendering processes, as well as supporting current contracts. The key success of this role lies in the coordination, preparation and submission of quality tender documents. You will need to be able to work autonomously and be confident in financial modelling and data analysis, to successfully develop bid sheets and pricing for new tenders, whilst maximizing commercial performance on existing projects.

Responsibilities:Tender Management: end to end tender process, developing a project plan for each tender submission, coordinating internal stakeholders, tender risk analysis, preparation of costing information, productivity assumptions and final pricing of tender processDevelop bid and tender processes, templates and other supporting resources.Provide effective administrative assistance to the operations and commercial divisions of Canada and EMEA.Work with contract administrators to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of invoices and payroll.Education and Experience:3-5 years directly related experience, coordinating bids and tenders;Experience within the mining industry is an asset;Post-secondary education in business, accounting or finance is preferred;Strong computer skills, including extensive experience using Microsoft Excel;Experience using Oracle is an asset;Strong analytical, coordination, organization, time-management, and communication skills;Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule as needed;Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines;Ability to work well as an individual with minimal supervision.Boart Longyear welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
