Payroll Specialist (Part-Time) - Greater Boston Area

Our client, a clinical-stage biotech company, is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist for a contract role. This position will support payroll processing on a flexible basis (approximately 15-20 hours per week) and will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls for both salaried and hourly employeesReview and validate payroll data including timesheets, bonuses, and deductionsPartner with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate information flow into payrollEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulationsAssist with reporting and process improvements as needed

Qualifications:
