The Contract Manufacturing Leader Procurement Europe is a key member of the European Procurement Leadership Team, responsible for defining and executing the procurement strategy for outsourced proprietary technologies and products. The role manages the relationship with key contract manufacturing partners across Europe, ensuring alignment with regional supply chain and business objectives while driving continuous cost improvements.Key Responsibilities:Strategy & Execution:Define and implement procurement strategy for outsourced proprietary technologies and products within Europe.Identify, evaluate, and onboard cost-efficient contract manufacturing partners to support outsourcing and insourcing strategies.Supplier & Contract Management:Manage and develop strong relationships with key contract manufacturing partners, ensuring performance, quality, and cost targets are met.Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment terms, and service levels.Team Leadership:Lead and develop a team of two regional buyers, ensuring alignment with regional supply chain and business priorities.Cost Optimization & KPIs:Drive procurement KPIs including cost savings, payment term improvements, and supplier performance.Build and manage a robust funnel of savings initiatives ensuring year-over-year continuous cost improvements.New Product Launches:Collaborate closely with Product Management and Manufacturing Partners to support new product launches, ensuring timely and cost-effective ramp-up of production capabilities.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work in close alignment with Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure business objectives are met while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and quality standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in procurement, with significant exposure to contract manufacturing and supplier management within a multinational environment.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex supplier negotiations.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain optimization in a regional or global context.
Proven track record in achieving cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel within Europe
