Contract Manager

Work Schedule: 

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This position is remote however; individuals will be required to work in office a few times per year. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Contract Manager to: 

Review and negotiate all procurement contracts with a focus on GI/ENT/Anesthesia - Supplier Agreements and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) agreements in compliance with UW Health policies and other key terms Manage sourcing and contracting initiatives from conception to completion – including contract review, negotiation and redlining processes. Manage active contracts for renewals, amendments, additional updates accordingly. Collaborate and develop strong working relationships with various department heads, physician leaders, other clinicians, hospital senior management, and materials management staff to create healthy markets and a competitive sourcing environment – with a high focus on customer service. Assemble and present business cases that include data analysis, supplier capabilities/differentiation, market data, and business requirements to key stakeholders and leadership. Analyze processes, recommend internal improvements, and assist in reviews of procurement policies and procedures
