As a Contract Manager, you will spearhead strategic commercialization and expansion activities for ABB’s Energy Solutions, working on impactful projects and large-scale contracts. This role is part of a strong, industry-leading team, offering you the opportunity to take on diverse roles and engage in continuous learning. You will be part of our Northern European Hub Contract Management team, and you will be based at Fornebu, Norway, with possibility for home office (flexible workplace). Your role and responsibilities:- Lead contract management in daily activities, actively covering commercial aspects as a trusted advisor to Energy Market Development, Project and Sales Managers - Advise on contractual matters during the pre-award phase including tailoring new contracts - Lead and/or participate in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners - Provide support for changes and adjustments to contracts and frame agreements - Manage and lead commercial activities throughout the pre-award phase of projects - Coach and educate the entire organization to raise competence and awareness on contractual and commercial matters.

Qualifications for the role

A legal degree at master’s level or higher education in Business, Finance, Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience in commercial issues. 5+ years’ experience from working with contractual and commercial aspects related to projects Understanding of and experience with contract management, procurement, and logistics An open-minded and solution-oriented mindset topped with a go-do approach Motivation for an outgoing role with dialogue and relations as key words Overview, including the ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and deadlines Strong communication skills. Languages English (fluent) and Scandinavian, written and spoken
