Role Summary As Contract Leader, based at our Ansty Park site in Coventry, you will oversee the customer facing contract and agreement processes for the Braking Systems Product Group (PG) within the UK. Specifically, this will include preparing contractual agreements and providing commercial related advice; drafting and reviewing contractual documentation and negotiating agreements in accordance with corporate policy and applicable legal requirements. In this role, you’ll drive efficient commercial performance throughout the product and contract life cycle, including implementation of modifications and amendments as necessary; working closely with the Customer Account Management (CAM) team and other functions within the PG to ensure customer requirements are met. Core Responsibilities + Providing commercial advice and supporting the business + Maintaining responsibility and accountability for assigned customer commercial and + contractual relationships + Assessing contractual and commercial risk and provides appropriate advice to business + leadership team + Overseeing the bid teams responses to RFI's or RFP's, including responsibility for + management and compliance of the BAR process and obtaining all necessary internal + approvals + Ensuring that dissemination of agreements and contract closedown/exit activities are + completed within expected timelines + Monitoring and analysing the administration of contracts to ensure compliance with contract + terms and company policies and reports on performance; supporting Programme + Management and Customer Account Management functions + Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial documents such as NDA’s and Terms and + Conditions of Contract + Ensuring contract management system records are maintained and accurate + Drafting and negotiating contract amendments Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Essential: + Able to anticipate internal or external business challenges/regulatory issues and make + recommendations + Experienced in developing and negotiating contractual agreements, with logical problem solving and strong numeric skills + Strong written communication and verbal communication skills, with good interpersonal and conflict management skills + Excellent customer service orientation and team building skills + Strong prioritisation, research and decision-making skills + Ability to gather data, to compile information, prepare reports and make oral presentations + Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained at all times + Demonstrated ability to provide cross-functional leadership + Ability to work independently and prioritise duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines + Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers; particularly proficiency in manipulating the Business Evaluation Model (BEM) + Knowledge and experience of Salesforce.com (SFDC) Desirable: + Aerospace industry experience What We Offer Parker Meggitt is proud to offer a competitive total rewards framework designed with our colleagues' health, wealth, and well-being in mind to help our employees balance a successful career.
