Contract Coordinator I, II or Sr

Overview This position is responsible for preparing and executing LG&E gas & electric contracts for builders, developers, commercial and residential customers. Individuals in this position will be also assist and support Operation & Distribution personnel by helping to resolve customer service issues. Additionally, this position ensures that all services are provided in accordance with Company rules, regulations, policies, and goals, while maintaining/enhancing positive client/company relationshi Responsibilities **_Position may be filled at the Contract Coordinator I, II, or Senior level based on the successful candidate’s background, education, and experience. Additional responsibilities may be included for higher levels of the role._** + Develops solid working relationships with home builders, commercial design and development companies and other land developers in order to expand company infrastructure, customer base and associated revenues. + Prepares and processes gas and electric customer contribution contracts in accordance with Company guidelines. Through system models, estimates customer’s revenue credits based on anticipated load. Provides information to customer inquiries including gas and electric line extension policies, practices. Prepare other contractual agreements as required. + Addresses customer conflict and concerns over contribution amounts with diplomacy and tact, maintaining positive relationships even when faced with difficult, unpleasant situations. + Serves as a project manager and/or facilitator in meeting customer needs. Monitors developer status through site visits/field inspections to ensure our progress is in lock step with the developer’s timeline. + Coordinates, implements and completes projects in a timely manner through effective cross-departmental communication and planning. Assists with establishing priorities for designers and construction personnel. + Maintains ongoing communication with customers for each project through on-site visits, telephone, written correspondence, and customer meetings. Purpose is to create a positive customer experience by providing a single point of contact throughout the development process. + Demonstrates a general knowledge of many areas of the company, including, but not limited to: metering, maps and records, gas distributions systems, gas equipment, electric design, electric distribution systems, electric equipment and construction standards, construction contracts and policies, rate structures and other regulations governed by our tariffs. + Responds to customer inquiries/complaints regarding policies, and practices of the Company. + Ability to multitask and prioritize work as determined by customer and/or company needs. + Administers departmental policies and procedures consistent with government agency regulations and other company policies + Responsible for working PSRT Console during storm restoration. + Perform the dispatch role as PSRT and/or Damage Assessment Dispatch Coordinator during storm restoration events. + Attend Home Builders Association meetings upon request to provide information for potential gas and electric extensions (HBAL Meetings – Bullitt County and Oldham County). + Provide progress and status reports on weekly, monthly or annual basis as requested to; clients, piers and related departments. + Research and compare invoices with stated contractual Terms and Conditions as needed.
