Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is hiring a Contract Administrator who will be based out of our Sykesville, MD location. You will be expected to be in the office full time.
What You Will Get To Do:
The Contract Administrator at Northrop Grumman supports Government programs, manages contract operations, and participates in capture and proposal activities. Responsibilities include overseeing contracts from development to close-out, ensuring customer satisfaction, financial performance, and risk management. The role requires strong customer relationship skills, employee engagement, and effective collaboration with various teams. Knowledge of FAR and DFARS is essential, and the position reports directly to Contracts Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing and addressing contract provisions and risks
Setting up and maintaining files including private/proprietary and other sensitive data
Process Shipping Documents and lead OTD Load
Developing solutions for contractual matters
Supporting financial goals with emphasis on data metrics analysis
Communicating effectively with customers
Maintaining contract data integrity and Contract files
Ensuring timely contract deliverables
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for a Level 2 Contract Administrator:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in contracts / related field - OR - 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with government contracting
Experience using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD (Department of Defense) Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS clauses
Experience in the defense industry
Ability to learn and utilize various data entry software tools and to adapt with changes to those tools
Basic understanding of Government contracting requirements

Primary Level Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
