We are seeking a self-motivated, professional, and responsible individual to focus on contract and invoice management tasks for our national Managed Security Services team. This position is responsible for executing several processes inherent to our management and maintenance of client and vendor contracts and agreements. The selected resource will maintain awareness of all executed client and vendor agreements and will follow existing processes and procedures to successfully amend, renew, terminate, and manage payment of in scope agreements. A successful candidate must demonstrate mastery of the team’s process and apply their working knowledge of our service’s tools and strategy to support the financial stability of the service.
Rsponsibilities:
Follow RSM Defense defined processes to track active projects and vendor relationships and execute procedural steps in accordance with service needs
Maintain awareness of all active projects and vendor agreements using service specific toolsets
As necessary, make changes to draft agreements prior to execution
Maintain awareness of timing and stage gates that necessitate reviews and document execution
Collaborate with RSM Defense internal and RSM national resources to process client and vendor agreements
Acts as reviewer, editor, and custodian of client and vendor agreements
As necessary, make changes to draft agreements prior to execution
Collaborate with RSM contractual processing teams to make necessary edits and prepare documents for execution
Perform invoice management activities including:
periodic renewal of active engagements to avoid service disruption
Collection of invoice data and metrics to support broader financial management metrics and forecasting
Interface with vendor contacts to resolve issues or discrepancies in licensing or vendor agreements
Provide assistance to RSM Defense new contract generation processes as necessary
Additional RSM Defense activities as required
Basic Qualifications:
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
Advanced skills with data management tools and platforms such as Microsoft Excel, Smart Sheets, and/or data analysis tools and platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
Excellent written communication skills, particularly for legal documentation such as contracts or client service agreements
Reading comprehension for business language and legalese in English
Ability to interpret broader changes or service requirements based on leadership guidance and apply recommendations across future work
Decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
High level of professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of work experience within professional services is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple stakeholders while meeting deadlines
