Contract Administration

Job Title: Sr Contract Administrator

The Sr Contract Administrator (SCA) will provide professional contract administration services, including responding to requests and assigned tasks, supporting projects, and reviewing contract-related documentation. Billable hours must be directly associated with assigned services and tasks.

The SCA will report to the Commercial Manager and collaborate closely with the Commercial Management team, engineering staff, and third-party consultants. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:Coordinate post-award contract activities within the Construction Service Category.Review, interpret, and analyze contract requirements and documents to ensure consistent application of contracting strategies and terms, minimizing risk and protecting organizational interests.Participate in kick-off and progress review meetings to support project teams and ensure stakeholder alignment on contract terms.Enforce contractual obligations and assist in negotiations, including resolution of disputes and enforcement of penalty clauses or liquidated damages.Escalate complex or high-profile issues to the Commercial Manager.Maintain accurate records of work plan releases, changes, claims, certificates of payment, amendments, correspondence, and notices in the Contract Management System (CMS).Monitor contract progress and prepare status reports for management and project teams.Analyze contract changes, amendments, and claims, and implement mitigation strategies.Administer the payment process, including invoice verification, statutory holdbacks, final payments, and assessment of back charges and liquidated damages.Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment; analyze schedules to evaluate contractor submissions.Monitor contract allowances and contingencies, coordinating increases as needed.Negotiate settlements for contract changes, claims, and unit price quantities.Process Requests for Quotes, Contract Amendments/Changes, and Directives; contribute to Purchase Authorization Amendment Board Reports.Support performance review processes and participate in meetings regarding unsatisfactory performance.Manage contract close-out documentation.Prepare commercial documentation for procurement processes including RFPs, RFBs, RFSs, NRFPs, RFIs, NOIs, pre-qualifications, and contracts.Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Commercial Management Department.Ensure all performance KPIs are met.The selected candidate will not be assigned to specific programs where a conflict of interest may exist.Required Skills:Contract administrationChange order managementStrong understanding of contract terms and conditionsExperience Level:Expert level

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $110.00/hr.
