**Primary role - Continuous Improvement (70%)**
Develops, leads, manages and implements initiatives or projects to drive ongoing improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Oversees the implementation of digital business initiatives to ensure revenue growth and/or productivity savings. Manages the change process by ensuring the achievement of projects to time, cost and specification requirements. May be involved in the development of multi-year strategies for complex initiatives or business areas, including product launches and integrated operations planning, among others. May use specialized tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile Development, Lean Business, Six Sigma) to develop, implement and sustain process improvement initiatives and ensure team collaboration, issue tracking and effective project management. May have or be working toward a Six Sigma certification (e.g., Master Black Belt, Black Belt).
+ Experienced professional or supervisor with in-depth knowledge in a technical or specialized area, responsible for completing complex tasks requiring interpretation of policies and practices, under minimal supervision.
+ May supervise employees, focused on task performance, and recommend improvements to the delivery of specialized processes
+ Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and advanced knowledge of related job disciplines.
+ Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and differentiators in the market.
+ Has built a detailed understanding of market, function, processes and policies gained through multiple years of experience.
+ Interprets and applies organizational policies; recommends changes/improvements to specialized processes and procedures.
+ May have formal supervisory responsibilities, guiding and prioritizing the activities of individual contributors with similar responsibilities.
+ Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. • Works independently with minimal guidance, providing guidance to less senior team members.
+ Assignments often require independent judgment and evaluation.
+ Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
**Secondary role – Quality (30%)**
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and related processes, including management review, change management, internal audits, customer satisfaction, and corrective action.
+ Lead and participate in the internal audit program.
+ Manage the process for corrective action related to audits, internal quality issues and external customer complaints.
+ Analyze quality data and work with Operations and Technical teams to drive root cause analysis and problem-solving.
+ Collaborate with Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams to ensure product quality.
+ Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization through training and demonstrating strong adherence to principles of quality.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or related field.
+ At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong communication skills
+ Strong team player - gets along well with others.
+ Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
