What You'll Do

As a Continuous Improvement Project Manager, you will lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing operational excellence and CI projects across three manufacturing facilities in the Cleveland, OH area.Aligning project objectives with strategic business goals; ensuring delivery of expected outcomes, on time and within budget.Overseeing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Facilitating cross-functional collaboration between operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and senior leadership.Developing and implementing standardized project management methodologies and reporting processes.Mentoring project teams and promoting the adoption of CI tools and Lean principles throughout the organization.Identifying project interdependencies, proactively resolving risks and bottlenecks, and removing roadblocks.Leading high-visibility initiatives involving senior leadership and major customers.Tracking and communicating key performance metrics and project milestones to stakeholders.Championing best practices in project governance, execution, and stakeholder communication.Supporting team onboarding and training in Continuous Improvement methods across both production and office functions.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field—or equivalent experience.PMP, CSM, or equivalent Project Management certification (or 7+ years of experience managing complex projects without certification).Minimum 5 years of project management experience within operations or supply chain environments.Strong leadership presence with proven experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.Outstanding written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skill.Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-departmental alignment.Experience navigating projects within a matrixed organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to travel to local sites as required.Experience in manufacturing operations—preferably within medical device, defense, or automotive industries.

Preferred:

Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher).Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.Experience in machining and assembly manufacturing environments.
