Continuous Improvement Manager
Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Description

This role is vital in establishing lean manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

Manage projects that deliver savings year over year.Identify and facilitate process improvement projects and training workshops to drive cultural change.Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing and business issues, manage material flow, create project plans, assess production capacity, and create process documentation.Lead, train, and coach cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving programs and embrace lean culture change.Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, enhance safety, and address any ergonomic concerns.Apply creativity and innovative approaches to solve complex problems.Facilitate events aimed at continuous improvement.Implement SMED and Standard Work projects.

Essential Skills

Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.Proficiency in process improvement and project management.Strong skills in Lean implementation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5-7 years of progressive and proven experience in a lean manufacturing environment.2-3 years of direct leadership experience with people management.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and focuses on implementing lean manufacturing practices. You will be working with cross-functional teams and interacting with manufacturing personnel. Creative problem-solving and innovative thinking are encouraged to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement. The role involves standard office hours, with a focus on safety and ergonomic concerns within the manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
