Continuous Improvement Manager
Overview ... Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and creating a culture of continuous improvement? JBT Marel is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to join our leadership team in Marcilla, Navarra, Spain. In this high-impact role, you will report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal part in shaping and embedding Lean principles across all departments. This is an on-site position, five days a week, due to its hands-on nature and close integration with production operations. The Opportunity ... As CI Manager, you will lead the development and execution of continuous improvement strategies across the business. Working cross-functionally, you’ll mentor and train teams, support the rollout of Lean initiatives, and act as the key point of contact for CI within our global network. Your responsibilities will include: Driving the Continuous Improvement culture across the organization by developing and implementing systems, processes, and procedures in collaboration with all departments. Leading training and mentoring initiatives to embed CI practices at every level. Acting as the main liaison for CI and Operations departments across JBT Marel plants, ensuring alignment with global CI leadership. Defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs in coordination with the management team. Implementing JBT Marel’s Continuous Improvement policies company-wide. We are looking for a seasoned leader with a degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in CI, Production, or Operations, and a solid track record in team management. Strong knowledge of Lean tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Gemba Walks, SQDC) and fluency in English (C1 level or above) are required. Occasional travel may be needed. Why work at JBT ...
