Lear Corporation's Pruszków plant is part of the Thermal Comfort System Division and manufactures massage and comfort systems for car seats.

 

Continuous Improvement Manager

 

 

Responsibilities:

Implement, maintain, develop and improve processes and systems related to Continuous Improvement and Industry 4.0 Coordinate and drive continuous improvement throughout the operational facility as well as commercial functions. Focus on business performance that constantly strives to improve safety, quality, delivery and costs; eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies. Drive change within the organization by training/ mentoring to all levels within the operational facility on the use and practice of C.I. methodology and tools. Works closely with AME team and Engineering team to develop automation, Industry 4.0 initiatives, controls and process standards. Makes key contributions and recommendations toward the industry 4.0 playbook aligned to corporate direction. Promotes the wider development of Industry 4.0 amongst the Lear workforce sharing and implementing actions and strategies. Identify and drive operational improvements at all levels utilizing a very “hands on” approach to creating value. Coordinate Continuous Improvement projects. Develop a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking.

 

Requirements:

Higher education (engineering preferred). A minimum of 4 years’ experience in leadership role within Continuous Improvement in a production company, automotive will be an asset. Experience with Industry 4.0 initiatives. Knowledge of VAVE/Lean/Six Sigma and its practical usage. Relevant Lean Manufacturing/ Six Sigma tools and techniques (DoE, DMAIC, DFSS, root cause analysis etc...). Experience with IATF-16949 and ISO 14001 will be a plus. Experience with people leadership. Fluent in English & Polish both written and spoken. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Very good organizational and time-management skills. Facilitation skills with a high focus on solutions.
