**Crane Aerospace and Electronics** has an exciting opportunity for a **Continuous Improvement Manager** a.k.a. Crane Business Systems (CBS) Manager at our **West Caldwell, NJ** location.

**Job Summary:**
As a **CBS Manager,** you will master Crane’s menu of lean manufacturing techniques. You will be a part of the development of the company’s strategic plan and be a part of the execution of that plan. You will also develop a mastery of key continuous improvement tools such as Standard Work, Kanban, 5S, Six Sigma, etc. After training others on the use of these tools and leading kaizen continuous improvement events, you will be responsible for assisting the organization in its daily use of the tools in both the factory and office.
The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in Production, Manufacturing or Operations. This role is intended to be an opportunity for a career path into a leadership role at Crane.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Facilitate and manage the Kaizen Roadmap
+ Coordinate the continuous improvement activity and team members
+ Facilitate establishment of lean principles throughout the organization, including coaching to ensure completion of projects
+ Use tools to identify root causes and develop counter measures
+ Work with business leaders to attain business goals
+ Promote continuous improvement and the constant elimination of waste
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Supervisory experience in Production, Manufacturing or Operations
+ Experience leading Continuous Improvement events
+ Proven accomplishments utilizing lean tools/methodologies
+ Knowledge in Change Management
+ Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills in a matrix environment
+ Demonstrated ability to motivate all levels of the organization
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills and facilitation of groups toward deliverables
+ **Eligibility Requirement:** This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

**_Salary range: $124,100.00 to $161,300.00._** Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
