The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
+ Working with the plant leadership team to understand the key objectives impacting the plant and then identifying projects and activities to deliver the requested results.
+ Executing projects and leading teams that deliver significant cost and cash benefits using lean, six sigma, and other problem-solving tools.
+ Determining root cause of significant issues, implementing corrective actions, and tracking the actions to completion.
+ Developing continuous improvement skills across all levels of the organization by creating a development plan for technical and operational teams.
+ Communicating results to leadership.
+ Collaborating with Global CI team and CI leaders across other sites to learn and share best practices.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
+ Three (3) years of experience in plant and/or operations leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
+ Three (3) years of experience in developing and leading kaizen events in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
+ Advanced data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt experience or certification
+ Knowledge of Minitab or a statistical analysis software package.
+ Power BI experience.
+ Coaching and teaching skills.
+ Lean Manufacturing experience.
+ Demonstrated results using continuous improvement methodologies.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $122,292 - $149,468, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
