Create Process drill down & gap analysis and identify improvement activities to minimize waste in processes/Method of manufacture Carry out value stream mapping on key processesPerform root cause analysis to identify Failure modes / Waste elimination ideas and corrective actions with CFT on Key failure modes/Waste eliminationDemonstrate effective application of optimum manning in a work environment to carry out an improvement activity  to minimise waste in a process and/or method of manufactureComplete an Improvement Activity that demonstrates application of Equipment Improvement tools to increase reliability and availability.Use specific Virtual Manufacturing analysis tools and resources to be applied at the appropriate time to support Safety, Quality, Productivity improvements as requiredCreate and update work elements in Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP - or similar) system ensuring capacity/utilisation statements are maintained and aligned with load/capacity planning processes Leading productivity and equipment improvement activity within a facilityAuthor final recommendation report and support in creation of key specifications for CAPEX and monitor measures to assess the impactCoordinate in sharing the best practices within community of practice.Participate in Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Asset Care, Industrial Engineering (IE) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) workshopsCan obtain agreed estimate times with operators and validate against production requirements

Ability to design, develop, implement and improve integrated systems that included people, materials, information, equipment and cost.Capable of performing root cause analysis to determine cause and solutions to various technical manufacturing issues.Product costing knowledge and ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an intermediate skill level with Microsoft Project,Database software/Access, Excel, and Word software.This position requires and intermediate to advanced skill level with CAD software or any software dealing with plant layouts and process flow mapping.
