Job Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY: The Continuous Improvement (CI) expert is responsible for identifying, leading, and implementing process improvement initiatives across the organization, with specific emphasis on scrap. Responsible to manage risk, set direction and lead the way to breakthrough improvement. Assist the operation in making paradigm shifts through continuous improvement. The role is dedicated to identifying, analyzing, and reducing scrap and waste within the manufacturing processes involves analyzing current processes, developing strategies for improvement, and working collaboratively with various departments to ensure sustainable changes. The CI expert utilizes methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase efficiency. This role involves working closely with production teams, quality control, and continuous improvement departments to implement strategies that minimize material loss and enhance product quality. utilizes data analysis, root cause analysis, and process optimization techniques to drive improvements. overall scrap.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and a minimum of 5 years experience is required. Specific degree requirements will vary based on area supported.

2. Process/product knowledge, basic statistical knowledge, and organization knowledge. Strong communication and team leadership skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings. Proven success in problem analysis and problem solving. Project management skills to lead a team to complete a project. Basic PC skills.

3. Possess a detailed understanding of customer requirements. Understand basic business skills and practices. Knowledge/fluency in industry quality management tools.

4. Six sigma black belt certification highly desirable.

5. Mastery of Microsoft Office, Visio, CAD, Mini Tab and other software packages related to the development of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Methodologies.
