Continuous Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing)

Role Summary: 

Generate savings with the implementation of Operational and ExcellenceProjects ,CI projects according with the established objectives 

Work with continuous improvement process  Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen Events, Best Practice, Just Do It, 6S, etc.) projects that support the facility continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities:

Disseminate and act upon relevant industry and corporate benchmarking data Ensure that benefits related to CI initiativse are calculated according to corporate standards and are ultimately achieved within targeted time span Ensure that planned improvements are implemented, measured, driven to closure and crossed to operating results 

Requirements:

1 to 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or LEAN Certified 7 Quality Tool Practitioner (fishbone, 5 Why’s/ Ishikawa, Histograms, Control Charts, Pareto Analysis, Scatter Diagrams and Stratification) Able to work with/across all functional areas and all levels of the business Excellent verbal, written and facilitation communication skills Highly Proficient in the use of MS Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) 

 
Skills: 

Mechanical / Chemical /Industrial Engineer or related career Desirable Green Belt Certification Industry or Business experience where LEAN or Operational Excellence is core to the business DesirableChange Management experience Strong facilitation experience An interest in process and quality improvement Knowledge in statistics tools and problem solving Knowledge in finance concepts Knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes
