Based in our Shakopee, MN location, as a Continuous Improvement Engineer you will work cross-functionally with a team of Engineers and Lean Enterprise Leaders within the manufacturing/warehousing environment and be responsible for leading and facilitating process improvement initiatives across the organization.
This role involves identifying areas for improvement, developing strategies for implementing changes, and working collaboratively with various departments to achieve measurable results.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Designing and/or developing manufacturing processes and techniques that solve manufacturing and warehousing problems Using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze current processes and identify areas of waste, inefficiency, and variability Facilitating workshops and meetings focused on idea generation, problem-solving, and innovation in process improvement Developing process maps, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing solutions to address identified issues Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices Training and coaching employees on lean and Six Sigma principles and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement Monitoring and reporting on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives to management, documenting results and impacts on performance metrics Supporting the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements Benchmarking industry standards, trends, and advancements in continuous improvement techniques and technologies and incorporating best practices into the organization’s processesWho You Are:

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $70,000-$74,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
