Are you passionate about driving real change on the shop floor? My client, a well-established manufacturing business based in the Black Country, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The Role: You’ll play a key role in identifying inefficiencies, leading improvement projects, and supporting a culture of lean thinking and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:Analyse manufacturing processes to identify waste and inefficienciesLead CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologiesCollaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to implement sustainable improvementsTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Support training and coaching of staff in CI tools and practicesAssist with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions where neededWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in a Continuous Improvement or Process Engineering role within manufacturingStrong working knowledge of Lean principles; Six Sigma Green Belt (or above) is desirableExcellent communication skills and a proactive approachAbility to work independently and influence teams at all levelsComfortable working on the shop floor as well as in meetings and reportsWhat’s on Offer:A collaborative, no-nonsense manufacturing environmentThe chance to deliver meaningful improvements in a short space of timeCompetitive pay and support throughout your contractHours of work are typically 8am-4.30pm / 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.
