Responsibilities and Tasks:

Lead the overall implementation of LSO PAC System covering problem solving and process optimization in the axes of workplace safety, product quality and productivity and equipment reliability, respecting the Group's safety requirements. Achieve performance goals through deployment of PEAK LSO PACs. Establish, update, and monitor LSO PACs implementation plan and escalate to Senior CI Manager any challenges which require support. Monthly or weekly LSO PACs progress reviews with superior is expected. Update LSO PACs health status monthly through Ignition-PEAK Metric. Support delivery of Continuous Improvement Department initiatives in building the people and process capability to implementation projects across the organization to meet defined goals and milestone. You must ensure adherence to DMAIC framework and stage-gate processes for all projects. Work with relevant stakeholders to conduct loss analysis, recognize high value-added initiatives, and develop the implementation plan align to the breakthrough business needs (BBNs) every 6 monthly complying to the Loss Analysis and One-Pager requirements. Train, Coach and Consult LSO System Owners and Kaizen leaders on PEAK LSO Continuous Improvement process and tools via regular workshops, groups discussion, Kaizen reviews and Gemba activities. Perform regular & periodic validation of Project Charter information with Kaizen Leaders, Costing Department, and project Sponsors to ensure accuracy. Ensure compliance with the methods, including the accuracy of the calculation of the indicators of project performance. Lead communication regarding the Continuous Improvement projects and best practices internally and globally through but not limited to regular publication of Climb/SMED story board, Quarterly Kaizen review and monthly LSO PACs review. Update of LSO PACs dashboard monthly including Project Management Board, Flag Charts, Skills Matrix, Action Tracker, and Project Saving. Support Senior CI Manager in delivery of PEAK implementation at Ipoh and Penang plants and PEAK strategic initiative from time to time. You must always take SAFETY into account in both new and old projects, issues of adequacy of machinery, ergonomics in the workplace, standardization.

 

Requirements:

Industrial Engineering BSc degree or equivalent. TPM, Lean or equivalent Continuous Improvement background with minimum 5 years hands-on experience. Certified Green Belt will be an added advantage. Software literacy, Microsoft office Excel, Power Point and Power BI, statistical analysis is a must. Project management & experience in automation will be an added advantage. People centric, comfortable working with various level within the organization.
