Continuous Improvement Domain & Performance Management Lead

This is a high-impact role critical to advancing the MOPAR continuous improvement system - Stellantis Parts Distribution System (SPDS) methodology and strengthening problem-solving capabilities across the entire supply chain organization. As the Continuous Improvement Domain & Performance Management Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting SPDS by deploying and sustaining the Continuous Improvement (CI) domain and driving performance management initiatives across 21 Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs). In this capacity, you will work closely with the SPDS central team and site leadership to foster a culture of operational excellence.

 

Additionally, this role will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining labor standards to support operational efficiency. Running full-time equivalent (FTE) manpower planning to ensure optimal staffing levels. Managing overtime reconciliation tasks to maintain cost controls and compliance. Develop, lead and implement the automation of the industrial engineering and continuous improvement systems

This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution to drive continuous improvement and performance outcomes throughout the network.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the development and deployment of SPDS methodology and a world-class problem-solving toolkit across all supply chain functions. Coach and mentor PDC teams in the effective implementation of SPDS, ensuring alignment and sustainability at assigned locations. Conduct SPDS implementation reviews and provide actionable feedback to reinforce standards and continuous improvement practices. Lead the expansion of Shop Floor Management systems to accelerate improvement initiatives across all PDCs. Update and monitor the Vital Few KPI tracker monthly to assess progress. Collaborate with Finance, Cost Management, and Industrial Engineering teams to develop and roll out Cost Deployment strategies. Train and coach PDCs in identifying and eliminating waste and losses. Partner with cross-functional teams to gather cost and waste/loss data and develop Cost Deployment plans according to schedule. Mentor project leaders through the PDCA/Kaizen process, applying tools from academy training, in-plant coaching, and LUTI processes to build team competency. Identify, implement, and sustain cost-saving projects targeting top loss drivers across all PDCs to meet annual savings goals. Support the financial approval process for these initiatives. Facilitate bi-weekly PDC project review meetings to evaluate project viability, timelines, and outcomes. Promote the read-across of successful initiatives to other sites where relevant. Maintain project tracking tools and provide regular updates to PDCs on savings versus targets. Update SC Warehouse and Internal Burden projects in the TCR database for high-level reporting. Develop and implement business cases to address emerging supply chain challenges and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments with a strong focus on industrial engineering and/or logistics Proven track record in continuous improvement, with experience deploying Lean methodologies and fostering operational excellence, including familiarity with frameworks such as World Class Logistics (WCL) or Stellantis Production Way (SPW) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools Technical problem-solving expertise and ability to leverage data analytics to drive KPI improvements Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to dynamic environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field Strong industrial engineering background, including process optimization and system design Previous launch experience (new systems or process deployment) is an asset Certified WCM/WCL/SPW Pillar Leader Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Qlik Knowledge of coding languages (Python, C++, SQL, Java) is desirable Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Background in logistics, inventory management, and lean transportation practices Familiarity with data science concepts and their application in supply chain optimization
