CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR 
LEAR MCCALLA, AL

 

Incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for leading, driving, and implementing impactful Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve plant performance, and complete required CI deliverables. This position will report to the Plant Manager. 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Manage CI activities and drive culture by cultivating the use of CI strategies and tools. Work with departments to establish CI objectives that align with strategic goals. Lead and establish priorities for CI personnel. Create, Evaluate, Communicate, and share best practices. Apply statistical principles to evaluate and improve processes. Build and lead cross functional process improvement teams. Manage multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously and meet deadlines. Effectively lead others and maintain the trust and cooperation of others. Lead plant to achievement of OEA scores and objectives Conduct a minimum of two CI Workshops per month with all team members. Provide CI training to both hourly and salary plant team members. Own, conduct, and maintain the Continuous Improvement Suggestion Board/Processes.

Your Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Continuous Improvement Lead Position in a manufacturing/automotive environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Subject matter expert in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing topics. Knowledge of Quality Systems Requirements (i.e., IATF16949, VDA.1/6.3, ISO 9001, CCC)
