Contingency Quarters Operations Support
Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Contingency Quarters Al Udeid, Qatar. Responsibilities Performs all Contingency Quarters Guest Service Representative requirements to support the lodging needs of Al Udeid Air Base customers, maximizing the efficient use of assigned rooms encompassing in excess of 15,000 bed spaces supporting a wide range of personnel. This includes, but is not limited to, superior customer service, reservations, check-ins, check-outs, bed space management, customer and room validations, maintenance reporting, lost and found program, key program, maintaining a professional work environment, and other related duties as assigned. Ensures that only authorized patron's use of government quarters. Provides routine and on-demand reports and rosters to leadership as necessary to support operational decision making. Reports all repair and maintenance requirements according to established policy. Reports all violations of safety to immediate supervisor. Partners with all major stakeholders to support all facets of the lodging operation. Complies with all lodging policies and procedures. Collects, compiles and transforms lodging statistical data to support actionable decision making and trend analysis for current and future lodging requirements. Performs or directs periodic or scheduled quality assurance surveys, audits, and inspections to determine adequacy of lodging guest service operations to include data integrity and accountability of bed space assignments in the CQMAP lodging system for reporting purposes. Coordinates findings with lodging management and primary stakeholders for resolution. Develop and implement methods of tracking team efforts to identify defects or gaps in processes and report issues that are discovered to lodging management. Identify areas for improvement in processes and propose solutions to enhance quality and efficiency. Reviews new lodging initiatives and memorandums to ensure that all lodging team members are following existing and new lodging operation procedures. Collaborate with other teams, including production, engineering, and development, to address quality issues. Validate information provided by all departments within the lodging sphere. Plans, facilitates, conducts and tracks all training requirements for the lodging front desk, customer service, and validations teams to improve operations with executing their various tasks within their department to support the mission. Qualifying Experience: Progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily in handling multiple tasks and providing quality customer service at the grade level of the position. Experience should be sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve problems and/or deviations from nominal management procedures. Experience working independently and planning work to achieve accomplishment of assigned duties. Experience creating and using a variety of reports as well as tracking requirements and completions. Experience which demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform data collection is desirable. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Typing skills are required. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 Investigation. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Preemployment Physical and Drug test. Incumbent must sign the Air Force Mobility agreement. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
