The Content Strategist for Manager Development will be responsible for crafting and maintaining a fresh, relevant, and compelling curated content experience for AWS Field Manager Enablement. This role will drive the content strategy to align with manager personas, leadership roles, and user needs, with the goal of informing and serving AWS's field managers to drive team performance, leadership excellence, and business outcomes.
The Content Strategist will audit existing content and provide recommendations for new content types that resonate with field managers. They will partner closely with content contributors to source high-quality, relevant leadership development materials that meet requirements. The content will then be curated into user-centered experiences that simplify complex leadership topics through minimalist design principles. Measuring, tracking, and analyzing performance data will be crucial to optimizing the content and maximizing its efficiency.
Ensuring core messaging alignment across the Manager Enablement program will be a key responsibility, as will aligning the cross functional teams with the content strategy. The Content Strategist will also partner with SMEs to map primary leadership use cases to the content, and collaborate cross-functionally (AFX, Field, PMM, WWSO, Global Marketing) to create manager development workflows. Integrating AWS leadership best practices with organizational top-line messaging will also be a priority. Additionally, they will define the target audience for workflows with input from Field and WWSO teams, establish delivery mechanisms, and curate enablement content (e.g., leadership development modules, coaching videos) based on SME input and user feedback.
