Company & Position Overview

Mimeo Photos, a leading global photo book and printed keepsakes brand, is seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Content Marketing Specialist to develop compelling content, shape our social media strategy, and grow an engaged online community. As part of a high-performance marketing team, you’ll play a key role in expanding brand reach, driving organic growth, and engaging customers through exceptional storytelling.

This is a highly collaborative role for a strong content creator and strategist who knows how to produce high-impact consumer-focused content that both converts and builds brand affinity. You’ll balance copywriting with execution across multiple marketing channels, including our website, blog, landing pages, emails, social media, and App Store.
This role requires a creative thinker with excellent writing and project management skills, along with a strong understanding of digital marketing and DTC marketing best practices.





Key Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing and Product teams to develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and promotions, product launches, app releases, and overall business goals Generate and execute ideas to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions Actively test new content strategies, formats, and platforms to maximize impact Use data-driven insights to measure content performance and refine strategies to improve reach, traffic, engagement, and conversions Stay up-to-date on industry and consumer trends as well as competitor activities Write and edit high-impact copy across multiple marketing channels, including website, landing pages, blog, email, social media, direct mail, order inserts, and advertisements Craft content that appeals to targeted audience segments, key buyer personas, and funnel stages, as well as broader audience Maintain a brand point of view on content to support seasonal, thematic, regional, and persona-specific content creation Utilize modern AI platforms and custom GPTs to generate innovative content ideas, streamline research, perform tasks such as translations, and accelerate production timelines Write, publish, and optimize consistent, high-value content to position Mimeo Photos as an industry leader and increase organic traffic Gather compelling customer testimonials and case studies to highlight how people are using Mimeo Photos Conduct keyword research and leverage SEO best practices and AI tools to optimize content for organic traffic and AI overview  Optimize Mac & iOS App Store listings for search visibility, downloads, and conversions Track and report on content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversions, and deliver research-based recommendations to drive engagement Develop and execute organic social strategies across existing and emerging social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. Create consistent engaging, on-brand content tailored for each platform Foster an engaged, vibrant community by actively engaging with DMs, comments, and customer feedback Manage user-generated content and develop an ambassador program to drive brand awareness and affinity Track and report on social performance metrics, including followers, shares, and engagement, and deliver plan to drive social channel growth Monitor trends and audience feedback to craft viral, shareable content that is both educational and inspirational Identify and build relationships with relevant lifestyle and photography influencers/content creators to drive engagement, expand reach, and increase brand awareness Create content briefs for influencers and content creators for collaborations and brand partnerships Develop PR campaigns and write press releases to support product launches and brand initiatives Collaborate with PR partners and media outlets to earn placements and coverage Actively monitor media conversations and relevant online community discussions to identify and respond to key conversations happening among our target audience

 

Skills Knowledge and Expertise 2-5+ years of experience in content marketing, social media, brand communications, or similar roles, ideally at a DTC brand Experience creating and developing on-brand social media content using design tools such as Canva, Illustrator, or Photoshop Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft and tell stories that connect with our core audience on an emotional level Proven success owning a content marketing strategy and setting and meeting associated KPIs Strong understanding of SEO, social trends, and content analytics Preferred Background
Passion for photography, design, and storytelling Experience in photo, print, or digital customization industries Deep understanding of DTC and e-commerce content marketing best practices
