JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Content Engagement & Strategy Specialist to join the Fox Nation team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, innovative digital unit expanding the Fox News brand. As a Content Engagement & Strategy Specialist, you have strong editorial judgment, technical ability, and a passion for making data-informed decisions. You are responsible for the curation of content within the platform. You will also work closely with the Content Operations, Business Intelligence, Product Management, Design, and Marketing teams.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle daily curation and maintenance of a vast digital content inventory

Establish quality assurance and reliability standards Fox Nation app and relevant tools

Contribute to the design and relevancy of Fox Nation’s content layout and initiatives

Utilize JIRA to oversee bug fixes and facilitate resolutions across clients

Establish working and open communications with production team members

Assist in design, delivery, and curation of image catalog for new series, specials, and stunts

Coordinate and upkeep in-app marketing strategy 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Ability to drive projects from start to finish involving multiple stakeholders

2-4 years of major network or streaming experience

Understanding of digital content management systems

Innovative and strategic UX/UI mindset

Experience creating and tracking tickets and projects on JIRA

Strong editorial judgment

Strong technical problem-solving abilities

Passion for and knowledge of current news and pop-culture

Experience with data analytics platforms, i.e.: Adobe Analytics, Chart beat, etc.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
