Content Designer II - Earner Experience
**About the Role** We’re seeking a Content Designer II to work with the Earner design team. In this role, you’ll help shape the end-to-end experience for millions of drivers and couriers around the world—people who rely on Uber to support a range of financial goals. You’ll craft content strategies and UX copy that empower earners with clarity, confidence, and a sense of control as they navigate the Uber platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product designers, UX researchers, product managers, engineers and product marketers to design content that reflects Uber’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and impact. The work requires a thoughtful balance of content craft, strategic thinking, and systems design. **What You Will Do** - Design impactful, user-centered content for mobile app experiences that help earners take action, understand information, and feel supported - Develop scalable content frameworks and systems that serve diverse global audiences and align with business goals - Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Marketing, and Operations—to deliver cohesive, end-to-end experiences - Use insights from user research, data, and feedback to guide and improve your work - Advocate for inclusive, accessible content that reflects Uber’s global standards and values - Help grow the content design practice by contributing to content guidelines, processes, and shared tools - Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing your time and priorities effectively **Basic Qualifications** - 3+ years of relevant experience in content design and UX writing - A portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft clear, impactful content for digital products - Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered solutions **Preferred Qualifications** - A degree in English, Communication, Psychology, Design, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field emphasizing storytelling and critical thinking - Experience designing for consumer-facing products with an understanding of content design best practices - Familiarity with localization, accessibility, and global content standards - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for content decisions - Background in conversational content design is a plus For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
