Content Designer II
**About the Role** We’re seeking a Content Designer to shape financial products with innovative, functional, and delightful experiences. You’ll craft content strategies and UX copy for consumer-facing experiences that power essential financial tools like instant payouts, debit cards, loans, and cross-border remittances - as well as help shape entirely new solutions that drive financial empowerment across Uber’s platform. **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- 1. Design impactful content for app interfaces, guiding users through their journey with clear, concise, and engaging language 2. Develop scalable frameworks that align with global user needs and business goals. 3. Collaborate across disciplines, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, product designers, and product marketing managers to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences 4. Incorporate insights and data from research, user feedback, and analytics to validate and improve your work 5. Advocate for accessibility principles, ensuring content is inclusive, localized, and aligned with Uber’s global standards 6. Contribute to team growth by developing content guidelines, sharing best practices, and helping scale content design at Uber 7. Manage your time and priorities effectively, balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 8. Develop content guidelines and other tools to grow the practice of content design at Uber \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 1. 3+ years of relevant experience in content design and UX writing 2. A portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft clear, impactful content for digital products 3. Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered solutions \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. A degree in English, Communication, Psychology, Design, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field emphasizing storytelling and critical thinking 2. Experience designing for consumer-facing products with an understanding of content design best practices 3. Familiarity with localization, accessibility, and global content standards 4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines 5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for content decisions 6.
