Content Creator Intern
**Company description** AKA is an integrated communications agency based in Singapore, supporting our clients locally, regionally and globally by conceptualising and bringing to life compelling creative campaigns. Part of our offering is design and production support - from creating on-point infographics for an infant formula brand, through to shooting stylish cinema ads for a travel destination. Everyone at AKA is forward-thinking, collaborative, and passionate about delivering great work for our clients (plus we're a friendly bunch). We enjoy a flat hierarchy and expect everyone - no matter what level - to bring ideas to work every day, speak their mind, and positively contribute to the culture. We're proud to work with some of the world's leading brands - the likes of Durex, Meta, Jetstar Asia, Tourism New Zealand, and Levi's to name just a few. **Overview** The Content Creator Intern supports the creative team by developing scroll-stopping, platform-native content primarily for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This entry-level role focuses on bringing fresh, fearless energy to our digital storytelling, contributing bold ideas, and producing engaging visual content that aligns with campaign and brand strategies. The role also builds foundational production skills across shooting, sound, and lighting management to support high-quality content creation. **Responsibilities** **Core Focus Areas** **Craft:** Create dynamic content for social platforms, including short-form videos, GIFs, key visuals, and motion graphics. Assist in the visual development of campaign concepts. Stay up to date with platform-specific formats and trends to ensure content remains relevant and cutting-edge. Develop proficiency in creative tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. **Ideation:** Actively participate in group brainstorms, contributing bold, brave, and trend-driven ideas. Help sketch and develop visual concepts that translate into high-impact content. Bring fresh perspectives to creative discussions, particularly around social-first ideas. Propose low-fi and scalable production approaches where appropriate. **Project Ownership:** Support project deliverables under supervision, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs. Maintain good project hygiene with file organization, version control, and responsiveness to feedback. Assist with pre-production preparation, on-set support, and post-production needs for small content shoots. Manage small assignments independently as confidence and capability grow. **Team Development:** Collaborate actively with fellow Studio and Comms team members across levels. Seek and apply feedback with resilience and a growth mindset. Support team ideation sessions and contribute positively to a culture of fearless creativity and collaborative production. **Client Engagement:** No direct client engagement expected at this stage. However, build awareness of client brands, tone, and social strategies to inform creative outputs that are on-brand and culturally relevant. **Business Impact:** Begin developing an understanding of how engaging social content supports broader brand awareness and business goals. Demonstrate curiosity around KOL engagement and how it can enhance content reach and performance. Show awareness of efficient production approaches that deliver value for clients. **Qualifications** • Passion for design, storytelling, and content production. • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). • Basic skills in shooting, lighting, and sound management for social content. • Strong trend-spotting ability across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms. • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute fresh thinking. • Ability to accept and incorporate feedback quickly.
