Job Description

The Content Creator strategizes and owns development of content topics and pieces, leveraging data, creativity and best practices to drive awareness, credibility and action among target audiences.

Responsibilities include:

Writing various forms of content marketing, including data-driven reports, white papers, blogs, case studies, ebooks, video scripts, infographics and web copy. Blending data, research, SME interviews, news and organizational insights together to create engaging, informational content.Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.Making strategic content recommendations for channel, format and messaging based on campaign objectives and organizational capabilities; Tailoring content to specific audiences, based on pain points, objectives and key messages.Utilizing content marketing and SEO best practices; staying on top of industry trends in content delivery to pilot new formats, deliveries and execution.Driving message development and foundational thought leadership that connects the dots across the organization’s principal capabilities.Regularly reviewing performance data to track ROI of content performance and inform decision-making.Building relationships with SMEs within the organization and identifying opportunities to pull original research and data insights into thought leadership.Partnering cross-functionally and effectively managing stakeholder expectations. Aligning with internal partners to manage the design, promotion, placement and distribution of content

Qualifications

Knowledge and Abilities

Excellent editorial judgement and strong storytelling capabilities across channels; experience in content marketing, editorial or journalism roles a plusCreative mindset with knowledge of current social, web and content development and emerging trendsExpertise across planning/strategy, writing/design, analytics, or technologyProficient with SEO web writingAn understanding of content performance metrics (impressions, CTRs, views, time on page, etc.), and how to translate metrics into strategic content recommendationsKnowledge of top/middle/bottom funnel best practices and how to use content to move customers from the interest to MQL stageFamiliarity with content management systems, editorial calendars0-1 Yr ExperienceHigh School or equivalent, Bachelors Degree Preferred
