Salary $48-53k/year DOE

Responsibilities:
-Write and manage content for the company's magazine, including the monthly feature page on in-depth regional topics as well as articles to communicate the Company's work to its stakeholders
-Develop original written materials for a range of economic development and member communication tools
-Create written content for presentation materials such as City/County Commission slides and State of the Cities slides
-Develop content for tradeshow messaging and business attraction efforts, positioning the region as a prime location for business investment
-Collaborate on and write advertising copy for LinkedIn, Meta, and other platforms, including sponsored campaigns and display ads
-Maintain written content on the Company websites and related industry landing pages
-Write email copy text for workforce and industry outreach, member engagement, and digital marketing campaigns
-Assist in curating content for quarterly newsletter, internal publications, and industries-specific emails
Support photo selection and light captioning for economic development event recaps
-Contribute written content and ideas for LinkedIn and Facebook posts that highlight programs, business growth, and community impact
-Coordinate closely with the Director of Public Relations and the communications and marketing team to ensure brand alignment and cohesive messaging across all platforms
-Provide event-day support to the internal team and carry out other responsibilities as assigned

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Preferred Bachelor's degree

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Associate's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
-Work experience in a related field will also be considered
-Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and message alignment
-Experience writing for web, email, ad, newsletters, and printed publications
-Strong understanding of storytelling in a regional development or membership context
-Familiarity with economic development or business marketing is a plus
-Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and working collaboratively
