The Content and Channels Designer will work closely within the content team within Internal Communications in delivering high quality internal communications content and channels across the business.

This role focuses on graphic design, motion graphics and videography to tell impactful stories and delivery consistent visual messaging across a range of platforms.

You will be part of the Communications, Marketing and Responsible Banking function, sitting centrally to support across a range of stakeholders and activities across SanUK.

The designer will create engaging, visually compelling content and manage communications channels to enhance brand identity, improve audience engagement and effectives support the organisations strategic communications goals.

Design and Branding

Create digital content aligned with brand guidelines (infographics, social media graphics, presentations and reports).

Evolve and maintain a great visual brand presence across internal comms channels.

Plan, shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos for internal and external use.

Create motion graphics, animated explainers and video overlays.

Work with the content and channels team to deliver the internal communications content plan and strategy.

What you’ll bring:

Graphic design and video production experience in a communications or creative role.

Stakeholder Management: previous experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders within a corporate function with business-wide impact

Demonstrate knowledge of the workings of a corporate environment and the role internal communications plays in that, including linkages into the wider world.

Digital Media - Demonstrable experience of using social media, video content and digital media to support and drive internal communications strategies to reach all key audiences.

Excellent visual storytelling and layout design skills.

It would also be nice for you to have:

Proven ‘Can Do’ attitude and the ability to work independently with 'virtual’ supervision, under tight time pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Creative thinker with great attention to detail.

Excellent project management ability: Possesses energy, passion and pragmatism. Capable of handling a number of projects and issues under the guidance of the Senior Internal Communications business partner.

Business-led perspective: Ability to research and produce content on a wide range of subjects and issues and identify the core Santander interest quickly in a variety of situations.

Excellent results orientation: Demonstrate clear drive and delivery focus and a track record of getting things done to a high standard.

Working in a team environment – you will be comfortable working within the team and across disciplines within the function to help deliver our communications. You will also embrace the chance to work with key stakeholders in the wider bank, understanding their business and their priorities and how you can help them to deliver that.

What else you need to know:

This role is based in Unity Place, Milton Keynes.

We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.

We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.

30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
