Consumer Public Relations Senior Manager

We’re seeking a visionary Consumer Public Relations Senior Manager to architect and activate bold, resonant communications across Vanguard’s retail and advice business. This is more than a leadership role—it’s a chance to be the strategic force behind how Vanguard shows up in the world.

As the steward of our external voice, you’ll:

Command the conversation across media channels, transforming complex business strategies into compelling stories that inspire trust and action.Lead with agility, orchestrating rapid-response strategies and proactive messaging that reflect Vanguard’s values and vision.Mentor and mobilize a high-performing team of communication consultants, setting the bar for excellence and innovation.Partner with senior leaders to craft forward-looking narratives that align with business goals and elevate our brand.Navigate the unexpected, overseeing governance and crisis communications with clarity and confidence.Influence the influencers, cultivating relationships with key media and thought leaders while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of industry experience.Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Public Relations degree preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
