Consumer Product Data Analyst
Description The Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and driving data analysis efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This role involves synthesizing complex data, assessing potential risks, and providing actionable recommendations to protect and strengthen Edgewell Personal Care’s brands. The Data Analyst will lead sophisticated analytical projects, deliver product insights, and provide recommendations to support growth strategies. This individual will also focus on providing reporting on key operational and strategic dashboard metrics across all business units and driving continuous improvements to enhance the consumer experience and build brand loyalty. The position requires a strong combination of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and evolving project management capabilities. Furthermore, the analyst ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and company policies. Key Responsibilities: • Data Analysis & Insights: + o Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, potential product issues, and opportunities for improvement across all business units. + o Provide in-depth evaluations of complex situations or datasets, considering multiple factors to deliver actionable insights. + o Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed to respond to emerging business needs. + o Escalate cases to Quality Sites as needed and make recommendations to mitigate risks and drive strategic actions. • Collaboration & Communication: + o Partner with Post Market Surveillance (PMS) teams and leadership to validate trends, assess risks, and finalize recommendations for broader dissemination. + o Effectively compile and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders verbally, visually, and in writing. + o Capacity for decision making in complex scenarios and for holding one-self and others accountable to those decisions. + o Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams and external vendor partners to ensure alignment and effectiveness. • Process Improvement & Compliance: + o Identify and lead process improvement initiatives with a focus on complex and high-impact scopes, ensuring data integrity and resolving issues as they arise. + o Develop, document, and share global best practices for analytics reporting in collaboration with global partners. + o Support regulatory compliance by ensuring readiness for inspections, representing Post Market Surveillance during audits, and managing SOP revisions or document creation as required. • Technical Expertise: + o Act as the subject matter expert for all data sources, calculations, and assumptions, providing clarity and accuracy in analytics. + o Collaborate with pharmacovigilance resources to address potential adverse events or reportable complaints. Skills data mining, power bi, data analysis Top Skills Details data mining,power bi,data analysis Additional Skills & Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required. • Experience: Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of drug, device, cosmetic, or consumer products preferred. • Technical & Analytical Skills: + o Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills. + o Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data models), Power BI, and other analytics tools. + o Must be technologically savvy to drive effective means of analyzing and reporting critical business information. • Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: + o Demonstrate strong analytical skills, business intuition, and the ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams. + o Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities effectively. • Leadership & Collaboration: + o Strong influencing skills to build credibility, communicate findings, and drive action. + o Be adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and effectively respond to new information or unexpected circumstances. + o Provide leadership assistance to other analysts by modeling best-practices and approaches and serving as a coach to more junior colleagues. + o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment. + o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint). Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
