Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Consumer Processor to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting administrative tasks related to mortgage processing and closing. This is a long-term contract position offering a hybrid work schedule after initial training. Responsibilities: • Review loan applications and credit reports to ensure accuracy and identify any potential issues. • Coordinate the ordering of appraisals, property searches, title policies, employment verifications, and tax transcripts. • Build and maintain effective relationships with mortgage representatives, branch staff, and department team members. • Collaborate with applicants, branch teams, and underwriters to resolve closing conditions and ensure compliance. • Schedule loan closings with borrowers, branches, and settlement agents while preparing necessary regulatory disclosures. • Verify that loan closing documents meet state and federal compliance standards as well as company policies. • Provide administrative support for various tasks and projects as assigned by management. Requirements • Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented work ethic. • Proficiency in computer systems including Windows, Excel, and Encompass. • Solid knowledge of mortgage industry requirements and regulations. • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Prior experience in administrative assistance, scheduling, and calendar management.
