Consumer Experience (CX) Interaction-UI Design Lead will partake and drive to realize the vision and responsibility of providing the world-class user experiences and lead interaction design globally for Sanofi products and its ecosystem. You will partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop amazing user experiences. In this role, you will play a key strategic role in helping drive the future ofSanofi CX.  You will collaborate with research, product, and engineering partners across the organization to build customer-focused design solutions at scale while cultivating a culture of user-centric design. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be able to lead projects forward in the face of ambiguity.

Main Responsibilities

Fluency and experience in the design thinking process

Drive the unified user experience in collaboration with colleagues, business and technology leaders; respond to organizational changes as they occur

Experience providing key contributions to innovative, successful products. Lead all phases of UX design work: distilling research, design ideation, prototyping, final spec design, and implementation.

Make tough calls around priorities and stand for quality when products are not ready to ship.

Contribute to strategic roadmaps with cross-functional leadership and manage multiple complex schedules to on-time delivery.

Integrate Design within the Consumer Experience and digital development process and be an advocate for design within Digital, partner organizations and stakeholder groups. 

Collaborate with key stakeholders to define product design and experience for Sanofi Digital including continual improvement and innovation.

Drive operational and execution excellence, while leading creative and holistic thinking at scale across diverse product releases, platforms.

Ensure Design brings the best creative thinking to the product/business/customer with consistency and within committed timeframes. 

Work closely with direct and indirect team members to define, document and maintain our overall user experience strategy, rollout, and maintenance for Sanofi products and digital solutions.

Lead, evangelize and share best practices in striving to support the Sanofi brand, and define a “Sanofi One Experience and Design.”

Define customer-centric Design measurement criteria and test to ensure the User Experience delivers positive results

Drive and document Ix/UI design standards and patterns across products systemically

Collaborate with team on process improvements and tool implementation to support those processes.

Develop, implement, and shepherd continuous customer relationships and UX and Design opportunities

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively with a large organization. Can flex and adapt to audiences at all levels and across stakeholders/partners

About You

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Design, HCI or related field. Master’s degree in relevant field a plus

7+ years of experience creating strategy and designing products.

Dynamic design portfolio that shows your design process, and shipped products is a must

Experience with UX/Design within Lean, Agile development process

Advanced Interaction Design skills and Human-Centered design methods in practice that meet user needs and business goals

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems in developing holistic solutions for product and its UX ecosystems

Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, inVision, Adobe creative suite

Expert knowledge and experience with Design System(s) and all various platforms human interface guidelines: iOS, Android, LMS and connected platforms

Ability to manage multiple projects and an ability to prioritize and organize to meet tasks and deadlines

Experience sketching, concept creation and wireframing, producing IA, sitemaps and user flows, with tap able/clickable rapid design prototypes

Deep understanding of web technologies such HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.

Must be a vibrant and engaging communicator who can present concepts and ideas to all levels of the company

Familiarity with pharma/health technology is a plus.

The salary range for this position is:

$125,250.00 - $180,916.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
