The Consulting Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving consulting sales to our F500 clients within financial services. As the Consulting Sales Manager, you will lead a team of consulting sellers focused on expanding Pega's footprint within the financial services sector. This is a leadership role executing the vision and growth strategies for the consulting practice, driving innovation and aligning business objectives with market opportunities.

**What You'll Do at Pega:**
You are responsible for leading large, F500 client relationships and consulting sales within Pega's financial services business unit. This role requires a combination of strong business acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional leadership skills. Your primary goal will be to drive sales and revenue growth and ensure client satisfaction by effectively coordinating the efforts of the consulting sales team. You will be responsible for ownership of a large financial services sales target.

+ Thrive on developing and executing sales strategies for consulting services targeting industry-specific clients while working closely with product engineering and subject matter experts to position compelling solutions.
+ Passionate about providing strategic guidance and direction for the company's industry consulting practice.
+ You have a passion for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including prospecting and qualifying potential clients. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including decision-makers and influencers.
+ Keen on maintaining compliance with financial regulations, procurement policies, and ethical standards in all business activities while identifying and mitigating potential risks related to client relationships and contractual obligations.
+ A thought leader at Pega! Being a central figure in the banking and financial services domain by authoring articles, delivering presentations, and participating in panel discussions.
**What You've Accomplished:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
+ Lead consulting sales teams in achieving bookings and revenue targets and provide guidance and support in closing deals.
+ Proven track record in sales and business development within the banking and financial services industry, ideally in software consulting or IT services.
+ Strong understanding of industry procurement processes, policies, and regulations.
+ Experience developing complex software consulting proposals and solutions.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and influence decision-makers.
+ Contribute to the development of annual budgets and financial plans for the industry consulting division.
+ Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire consulting sellers towards achieving sales targets.
