About the Role:

As a consulting software engineer, you will be essential in delivering stable and quality products. You will work collaboratively to support industry-leading solutions to combat fraud. We seek individuals who are motivated and passionate about modern Java development processes and can develop high-performing SaaS products

Responsibilities:

Develop and write code to meet complex user story requirements, enhancing the user experienceServe as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resourcesProvide design input across productsWork directly with customers and end usersAddress coding and technical issuesCollaborate with other technical personnel to finalize requirementsWrite and review detailed specifications for system componentsComplete complex bug fixesDesign and work with complex data modelsMentor lead software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques

Requirements:

Expertise in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Proficiency in development languages, including Java and Spring BootExperience with cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, and RDSKnowledge of database technologies, including SQL and No-SQLSkills in data modeling, design, manipulation, optimization, and industry trendsAbility to write testable code using unit and integration testsUnderstanding of architectural principles like domain-driven design, event-driven systems, micro-frontends, and microservicesAbility to lead technology resources in solving complex business needsAdvanced problem-solving skills and experience leading teams to troubleshoot and diagnose project issuesStrong communication and customer service skills, applicable to a wide audienceLearn more about the LexisNexis Risk team and how we work here
