About the Role:

As a consulting software engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering stable and quality products to our customers. You will be part of a collaborative team working to support industry-leading solutions to combat fraud. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about modern frontend development processes and can develop high-performing SaaS products

Responsibilities:

Develop and write code to meet the requirements of complex user stories, ensuring functionality aligns with specified criteria and enhances the overall user experienceServe as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resourcesProvide design input across a productWork directly with customers and end usersServe as a key resource on coding and technical issuesInterface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirementsWrite and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexityComplete complex bug fixesDesign and work with complex data modelsMentor lead software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques

Requirements:

Expertise in data modeling, design and manipulation, optimization, best practices, tuning, and leading industry trendsExperience in writing testable code using unit and integration tests, including familiarity with test frameworks such as Cypress, Serenity, Jest, and KarmaSolid knowledge of architectural principles such as domain-driven design, event-driven systems, micro-frontends, and microservicesAbility to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needsExperience in cloud services including AWS EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, RDS, and GrafanaKnowledge of web security practices, including XSS, CSRF, and secure coding standardsAdvanced communication and customer service skills, with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities applicable to a wide audienceLearn more about the LexisNexis Risk team and how we work here
