Our Manufacturing and Logistics services group is looking for a **Consulting Manager** to join our journey. We’re looking for someone who understands how to deliver impactful solutions within the Transportation and Logistics industry.
We’re looking for **Consulting Manager** who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, and colleagues. **Responsibilities**
· Based on experience, support or own and manage one or more project workstream(s), including deliverables, while adhering to budget, timelines, and client engagement guidelines.
· Partner with clients and project stakeholders and apply technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; this may include leading and managing small solutioning teams to accomplish the above
· Lead the analysis and optimization of transportation and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Oversee the implementation of innovative solutions to streamline supply chain operations.
· Provide expert advice on best practices in transportation and logistics management.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics solutions.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
· Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics operations to identify areas for improvement.
· Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
· Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the transportation and logistics industry.
· Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
· Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize logistics strategies.
· Support the development of long-term logistics plans to align with the company’s strategic goals.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to enhance overall efficiency.
**Qualifications**
· 9+ years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within the transportation and logistics services industry
· Must have extensive experience in transportation and logistics with a deep understanding of industry best practices.
· Must have strong analytical skills to evaluate and optimize logistics operations.
· Good understanding of Road transportation functional domain with focus on shipment planning and execution.
· Experience in order management, shipment and end-to-end tracking.
· Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
· Should be proficient in using data analytics tools to drive decision-making.
· Must have a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in the transportation and logistics domain.
· Should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.
· Must have strong problem-solving skills to address complex logistics challenges.
· Should be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
· Must be committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
· Should have experience in training and mentoring junior team members.
· Must be able to prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations to senior management.
· Should have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the transportation and logistics industry.
· Onsite Requirements: onsite at client location in Green bay, WI (No Remote or Hybrid)
